Please help fix AMD, DC's, LIVE CALL AND RINGING

Hello all,

We have been trying to get this working for the past few days and still have no idea on whats causing these issues with a particular CARRIER1 we have, as calls start going out we get a massive amount of Answering machines and DC numbers.. Also when calling we get the LIVE CALL GREEN on top but agent hears the phone ringing.. we have played around with a lot of settings but still no go, any help or ideas are gladly appreciated.
Below I have detailed as much as I could.

Please note if I use another carrier, calls come in normal not so many AMachines.. or DC’s.
On this Carrier2 we set the level at 10 lines, on CARRIER1 we have to lower it to 3 – 4 lines.

Vicidial cannot fix a broken carrier. You'd have to discuss that with the carrier in question. That's the purpose of testing with another carrier.

Of course, if there are differences in your settings you can test making them more similar, but ultimately you'll need to take each problem to the broken carrier and ask why each piece is broken. Then convince them to fix it.

Hello William,

I agree about the Broken carrier but calls do go through the drop percentages is very high 75% + 20-30 Agents, and lots of Answering machines, Disconnected numbers also when Agent is IDLE the call comes in and he/she hears ringing and status is LIVE CALL...

What should I move around in order to not have that ring sent to the agent on the outbound call?
As I mentioned the other carrier works alot better at least I get no rings.

Last night I tweaked Carrier2 and its 90% better, but our choice is to use Carrier1. Please let me know of any ideas.

Agents get calls when your carrier sends a signal stating the call has been answered. If your carrier does this when the call has NOT actually been answered, your carrier is lying to Vicidial and Vicidial cannot fix that.

Like asking your cab driver to get the bags out of the trunk you did NOT remember to bring with you. LOL

ok we have setup same carrier on different server so one of the settings on there is Not working at all, with the server settings i posted above, is there a particular setting you would recommend so we can tweak the life out of it..

Man Iam growing hair back out all of this..

I am afraid you lost me. Did you just say you have the same (broken) carrier on another server and it doesn't work and you want to know how to fix the broken server on dialer one which is now also on dialer two?

I realize you are likely talking about this to many people in your office, but those of us on this forum can only go by what you write. So all those details that are obvious to you are completely missing to us.

As a newbie on this whole thing I got a bit lost, sorry let me try and clear it up.. here we go..

TEST ON DIALER2
We installed the carrier in question on a different server and it works fine, calls come in and the agent hears no rings, when it gets passed to him.


ON DIALER1 BAD SETUP
Any settings you might recommend in order to not have the ringing go on when the call is passed
