No remote access, port 80 is open

Although port 80 is open and forwarded to the vicidial server, I can not access the vicidial admin/agent screens from my "home network". I can, however, access vtigercrm (which is on the same server as vicidial). Also, when I access the goAdmin interface, I receive a message that this site is not trusted and it switches to http:// instead of https://. Could this have something to do with the "remote-access" issue?

Thanks

First thing I would check is your yast firewall settings

I don't have yast firewall, because it's a Goautodial installation and therefore comes with CentOS instead of OpenSUSE... I disabled the firewall in CentOS (only temporarily to see if it makes a difference of course), but the problem still persists. I have no problem accessing admin/agent pages from the local network. Only accessing from public network fails. However, I can access the vtigercrm page from an outside network, which confuses me...
