Bad line on Incoming but Ok on outgoing

Support,

Agents are always complaining about line issues. i already tried 2 ISPs wiht 2mb up and down least line, we barely hit 600kb/s on our monitoring (mrtg). The issue is the agent can hear the clients clearly but the clients are complaining that they cannot hear them clearly, vice versa. When I do mtr to our DID providers everything is ok, zero packets loss. When they do callback (manual) everything is ok.

Full recording, standalone server, agents using ulaw because they are local, g729 on my carriers. Please advice.

Did you try another voice provider?

We are using DIDforsale and Voipinnovations for our DIDs. Manual is ok. Do you think it might be our isp?
FYI: I have separate connection for data. Only the dialer is using the 2mb.

1.check what codec you are using and what is recommended by your VOIP provider.
2.Are you facing this issue during particular hours ?
3.Also check your soft phone or IP phones codec settings.
4.System load can also cause voice distortions.

Im using ulaw alaw on agents softphones beacuse their on local network, no remote agents.
g729 primary and ulaw on secondary on my carrier settings.
load is minimal. I have 8cores cpu and 8gig ram, we barely hit 2.5 on load average.
We already asked our ISP to optimized our routing and we are currently monitoring it.
We will keep you posted.
