What is the topology for vicidial, broadly?
Asterisk and Vicidial are on the server, and then a softphone connects to Vicidial? Or, does each pc run Vicidial? If it's in the managers manual, pardon, I'm still going through that and also reading up on Asterisk overall.

Vicidial is a compilation of scripts and components. For a typical single server install you install all actually parts of vicidial onto that server. You then have a softphone on each pc that connects to that server and go to the servers website. The softphone is the audio and the website is the user interface. That is about as simple as I can explain it.
