Hi Everyone

Please find my build details below:
Version:2.8-437a
Build:140425-1257
asterisk version: 1.4.39.2-vici
SVN Version: 2112

SETUP:- Quad Core Server, 4 GB ram. Sangoma A104 4 port card, One Nic card, GrandStream Hard Phone and Zoiper Soft phone.

HISTORY:- Installed ViciBox_Redux.x86_64-3.1.10. Upgraded to the latest SVN version. Reason for upgrade on Hook agents. Completed the upgrade without any errors. Followed the complete upgrade procedure. Setuped INGROUP-->DID-->Campain inbound/Blended--Phones On Hook Yes--->Users. Inbound calls are landing no problem till this point.

PROBLEM:-
1. Not able to pic phone in one go. What i exactly mean is even after picking the receiver it doesn't pops up to the screen and goes to the next agent. And some times it does. Happening with every agent every call. So it has become like in whose fortune this call is jokes apart, moving to next one.
2. When answering phone on the soft phone, call is taking a lot of time to pop on the agent screen after answer.
3. Even after when the call the answered and disposed later call stays in the conference. Both on softphone and hardphone.

Research Done:
1. Updated the GMT time according to our time zone in the Admin-->Servers, Admin-->system Setting, and Admin--> phones.
2. Updated the server time with the ntp server.
3. Server time and Agent machine timing are same.
4. Read in the forum so also did " ln -sf /usr/share/zoneinfo/Asia/Kolkata /etc/localtime".
5. Admin.php and vicidial.php also have the same time.

Findings:
1. The Customer Time on the agent screen when call lands there differs big time. For eg: Current time is 6:11 PM and call was showing 7:15 AM.
2. In the CLI out put the call the not getting the Meetme conference.

You should try adding several more lines of the "agi-VDAD_RINGALL.agi" in your extensions.conf, sometimes that is what is needed for this to work on some systems:

; this is used for the ring_all function in VICIDIAL
exten => _8331*.,1,Playback(sip-silence)
exten => _8331*.,n,AGI(agi-VDAD_RINGALL.agi,${EXTEN})
exten => _8331*.,n,AGI(agi-VDAD_RINGALL.agi,${EXTEN})
exten => _8331*.,n,AGI(agi-VDAD_RINGALL.agi,${EXTEN})
exten => _8331*.,n,AGI(agi-VDAD_RINGALL.agi,${EXTEN})
exten => _8331*.,n,AGI(agi-VDAD_RINGALL.agi,${EXTEN})
exten => _8331*.,n,AGI(agi-VDAD_RINGALL.agi,${EXTEN})
exten => _8331*.,n,AGI(agi-VDAD_RINGALL.agi,${EXTEN})
exten => _8331*.,n,AGI(agi-VDAD_RINGALL.agi,${EXTEN})
exten => _8331*.,n,AGI(agi-VDAD_RINGALL.agi,${EXTEN})
exten => _8331*.,n,AGI(agi-VDAD_RINGALL.agi,${EXTEN})
exten => _8331*.,n,AGI(agi-VDAD_RINGALL.agi,${EXTEN})
exten => _8331*.,n,AGI(agi-VDAD_RINGALL.agi,${EXTEN})
exten => _8331*.,n,Hangup

Observed that after picking the hard phone receiver, call is taking a little more time to pop on the phone. Any clue for this? Is it due to more RING ALL lines we added?

Thanks Matt problem Solved. You are the Best. Really Thanks a lot :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Resolution Steps:
1. Exactly i added 7 line of RING ALL file which was the minimum requirement for my system, as i tested with different number of lines.
2. Reloaded the Dial plan.
3. Made a Call again.
ANT ITS DONE

But Observed that after picking the hard phone receiver, call is taking a little more time to pop on the phone. Any clue for this? Is it due to more RING ALL lines we added?

Thanks

Show a CLI example of "more time to pop on the phone". How long? (In Seconds ...)

Also: You have a 4 port sangoma card, is that for phones or for trunks? (I will assume trunks). It is possible that the sangoma card is taking time to perform the final connect.

What is the path that these calls take to get to the phones? DID->Ingroup? DID->Call Menu->Phone? Once again, the CLI output would be useful to show the delay. Also make note of whether the times are accurate (ie: if the CLI shows the time at the moment of answer, is that the correct number of seconds since ring?).

You stated "quad core server" ... is that a 1Ghz quad core or a 3.3Ghz quad core?

Does this problem ALWAYS happen, or only during heavy load? (Does it happen on a single call with no other calls in the system?)
