Hello Support,
I've been reading this topic http://www.vicidial.org/VICIDIALforum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=31727#p111200,and it is not that clear,
I have 3 pcs of these hardware but according to sangoma "NOTE: DAHDI 2.6 and above is currently not supported. " It is confusing. On the forum "http://www.vicidial.org/VICIDIALforum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=31727#p111200, he fixed the issue. Can someone confirmed? And do we have a much clearer steps on how to install ut50?

I remember when I first installed this on our old server I used these steps;
"I inserted UT50
ran modprobe wanpipe_voicetime
Edited Zap_Mod = wanpipe_voicetime
Then I ran all the sangoma trouble shooting steps on their website and all the results are ok..

cat /proc/dahdi/1
Span 1: WANVTIME/1 "WANVTIME/1 (source: wanpipe_voicetime) 1" (MASTER)

dahdi show status

Don't know if this is correct! Do we really need ut50? Sangoma said it can correct bad line quality, but to my experience we still encountered line issues with ut50 installed.
Maybe my installation was wrong. Please help... I know there are some other things affecting line, but i want to try this first if it really helps.

Thank you.

Thank you William as always. How can I test if it is really working?
We plugged the UT50 first before installation.
During installation on our preload test server vicibox 6.0 beta it says " sangoma device detected" instaliing driver...
Does this mean the driver is installed or do i have to do http://www.vicidial.org/VICIDIALforum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=33134 this?
When I do asterisk -r " it is saying unable to connect to remote asterisk"

Anyone? Kindly share...
Thank you.

You have to manually download the driver and install it using 'zypper in <files_here>' from the following url: http://download.vicidial.com/iso/vicibo ... /vicibox6/
According to KUMBA, I just don't know how to do this!!!

and what about this one?
1) cd /tmp
2) wget http://download.vicidial.com/iso/vicibo ... 6/wanpipe-<wanpipe-version>-k<kernel-version>.tar.bz2
- for example: wget http://download.vicidial.com/iso/vicibo ... 10.tar.bz2
3) tar -xf wanpipe-<wanpipe-version>-k<kernel-version>.tar.bz2
- for example: tar -xf wanpipe-7.0.10-k3.11.10.tar.bz2
4) type './install-wanpipe' and press ENTER
5) If it gives you no errors or complains about installing itself, then you are ready to go, and can type 'Y' to continue. If it complains, you need to figure out why.
