1:1 dialing is entirely possible. If you get enough agents, you can pump it up a little later, but starting with 1:1 dialing works quite nicely to never drop a call.
If you're considering this, here is MY advice:
You likely have an old workstation computer sitting around somewhere (without a monitor or keyboard ...). Download the Vicibox .iso from Vicibox.com and install it NOW. Get a SIP Provider (there are plenty around) and make a few test calls. There is an installation PDF available at the Vicibox.com site and after installation there is a Vicidial Manager's Manual available at EFLO.net (free version for starters, but get the paid version as soon as you realize you'll be making money with this system for the next decade, it'll help you along). None of this costs any $ except the "per minute" charges for the actual calls. Avoid "unlimited" calls with a monthly fee, in the end you always end up paying too much. And when you pay per minute, there is NO monthly fee ... and no contract. So none of this will incur a fee except for the tiny charges of real phone calls for testing.
Then you can set it up as you'd like it to work (come here for advice or help when you need it ... bring us the manual page/line, vicidial version with build, and describe your problem and associated configuration settings ... we'll walk you through it). Once you get it set up and working just as you'd like for a single agent, you can decide how to expand to a more robust system. With 1:1 dialing, however, any generic workstation PC may be able to handle your whole room. And Vicidial can easily be moved to new hardware without loss of service as you grow. Cooler yet, it can expand into multiple machines for nearly unlimited growth (still with a single management portal). Stock.
