MOH settings

hello,

i digged through the audio settings in the manual, well not 100% sure about this stuff...

plan:
for inbound calls:
* have an initial welcome info
* after some seconds an additional info like: "please be patiant - the next agent it yours.."
all with the same background music - all produced by a professional audioproducing company..

do i need to / can I split the background music from the audios?
if not possible there will be like music-gaps (hard to explain - mismatch of the background music)..
Not sure about the interaction between welcome message and on hold promt..

If I use welcome message AND on hold promt will the on hold promt be overlayed over the welcome message?
Welcome message will be music - music in background with welcome message - music ...music music...
idealy the on hold promt will overlay the music of the welcome message after the definded e.g. 40 seconds (ist that 40 seconds counted after the call was answerd?)

hope my question is more or less clear...

These settings are all controlled on your inbound group settings. (Inbound -> InGroups -> <INGROUP>)

This is controlled by the 'Welcome Message' settings
after some seconds an additional info like: "please be patiant - the next agent it yours.."

This is controlled by the various 'On Hold' Options
all with the same background music - all produced by a professional audioproducing company..

The on hold music is separate from the audio prompts.
If I use welcome message AND on hold promt will the on hold promt be overlayed over the welcome message?

You can define timers and if audio prompts will 'block' other prompts in the ingroup settings.
