Hi,
I changed the default admin password “goautodial” to a new password.

Now I am unable to log back in with the new or old password. I think it has set my user level to 1 so I cannot log into to the admin area.

Is there another way I can get into the web GUI to fix this? The username “root” and password still work via ssh.

Access your server by PhpmyAdmin if you still know your Mysql credentials user/pass. If this is possible then goto Database asterisk and table vicidial_users and edit accordingly to yoru preferences, save and test after.

Thank you. That was perfect and I manage to get back in. For some reason it had set my user rights level to 1.
