Engilsh GUI won't work after SVN update

Hi all,

I have a problem which is the English interface won't work anymore but the Dutch interface still works after updating to the lastest SVN last night:

I tried to copy /usr/src/astguiclient/trunk/www/agc to /srv/www/htdocs/agc but this didn't help.

The problem is that when i try to login as agent i get to see the endless Loading screen. I think it might be because of an old customization we had on this server.

Which logs can i check to figure out the problem?

In my Firefox developer console i see:

TypeError: genderIndex is undefined

With the Dutch interface i don't get this error.
I don't see anything relevant in the apache error log.

I can't replicate this problem on a newly upgraded system, with or without the Gender field being hidden with the ---HIDE--- label.

So, not sure what to suggest for you other than to ask if your Firefox Console shows what line that error is on, and what the code block around it looks like in source code.

I usually use Chrome to debug because it's easier to click to see the code, and it doesn't crash as often as Firefox now seems to.

I went to debug with Chrome and now i can login without problems in both Firefox and Chrome, i don't understand.... Maybe my colleague found something, i'll post back if that is the case.

I have the same problem.

I had to go and modify agc/vicidial.php to ignore all ifs containing $hide_gender.

I'm trying to figure out what it causing this, Do you have the System Setting label for Gender set to ---HIDE---?

Where can I find that? I looked everywhere and didn't find where to set the Gender to ---HIDE---, so you may say I'm using the default value after an upgrade.

He means at Admin>System Settings>scroll down.

In our case yes it is set to hide because we use m, v, o values in dutch. So we can' use the default values.

I made a couple of small changes in svn/trunk for this issue. Please let me know if they help.

Yes, gender is set to --HIDE--

Can't test the changes done on trunk now, but when I manage to do it, will confirm if worked or not.
