meetme doesnt have any audio

Postby Op3r » Fri Mar 30, 2007 3:51 pm

This is quite embarrassing cos I've installed VICIDIAL and asterisks for so many times. Im having a problem with meetme because it doesnt have any sounds. I mean you should at least hear you are only the person in this conference when you dial a conference number but I dont hear anything.

here's the cli

-- Registered SIP '7701' at 125.212.9.224 port 62787 expires 3600
-- Saved useragent "eyeBeam AudioOnly release 3013h stamp 24405" for peer 7701
-- Unregistered SIP '7701'
-- Registered SIP '7701' at 125.212.9.224 port 62787 expires 3600
-- Saved useragent "eyeBeam AudioOnly release 3013h stamp 24405" for peer 7701
-- Executing MeetMe("SIP/7701-08d8da40", "8600051") in new stack
== Parsing '/etc/asterisk/meetme.conf': Found
-- Created MeetMe conference 1023 for conference '8600051'
-- Playing 'conf-onlyperson' (language 'en')

mind you even if I log out it doesnt show that I logged out from the conference. :(

any ideas?

:( im tryin to set up a whole new different server.

I was thinking about the hardware that the server might have. I was told from a friend of mine experienced this kind of problem too. he changed his motherboard from Intel to Asus and it started working.

What zaptel timer are you using?

I only ever use Asus motherboards so I couldn't help you on the Intel side.

I fixed it 5 minutes ago: machine has two 100p clones. it worked with one, it does not
work with two. I have no access to the machine until monday, so I just disabled
/etc/init.d/zaptel and manualy loaded ztdummy and I am up and running again.

very strange error, but it was asterisk and not vicidial acting up.
