Hi all,
I could also use some help regarding performance testing. I altered aéverything mentioned in the /usr/src/astguiclient/agc_2.2.0/docs/PERFORMANCE_TESTING.txt
I added a remote agent, as described.
The extensions for the control server were already in place. I added the TESTTRUNK to the extensions.conf of the test server. The extensions "_91999NXXXXXX" and "999999999999" were already configured.
I also edited the sip.conf files of both systems according to the PERFORMANCE_TESTING.txt. I only change the IP-address to the IP-address of my control server. Anything wrong with that?
Test-Server:
- Code: Select all
vicibox-b1*CLI> sip show peers
Name/username Host Dyn Nat ACL Port Status
VICItest/VICItest (Unspecified) D N 0 UNKNOWN
Control-Server:
- Code: Select all
asterisk*CLI> sip show peers
Name/username Host Dyn Nat ACL Port Status
VICItest/VICItest (Unspecified) D N 0 UNKNOWN
I guess the test server is the one to be "performance tested", right?
But I can't see any output on both systems that would indicate something is going on. So no performance test for me yet
Any help is appreciated. Did I miss something, how is the test started?
And want is meant by
Do you have two servers connected to each other over IAX or SIP?
Isn't that done by the entries in the sip.conf on both servers?
UPDATE: still the peer "VICItest" is unreachable on both servers, but the performance test seems to have run. There were up to 1600 channels in use, which created a maximum load of 383
I was also able to blind monitor some sessions and heard music playing. So I guess the performance test kind of ran.
I am curious how the system will perform in the first test sessions within the next months.
Thanks in advance,
Marcus
