Hello, I did the Debian install for a very long time but well worth it. I can log into the admin portal page and change and add phones and users, but in some other areas I get the message "You do not have permission to view this page" This happens when adding a campaign. Could this be caused by the way debian sets up it web directory /var/www/html ? Should everything - all the astGUIclient files go into this directory. Or is this something simple

Almost there but so far away.

Thank you for any help you can give.

In admin.php select users tab then click 6666 ( default use as per scratch install ) give it all permissions .

Everything seem to be ok... you need to provide all the access priviledges to you admin user....

Thinking admin was super user

Thank you very much for your reply. I was thinking the admin user had all user rights to the system. After I made the adjusts you recommend now everything works. Thank You again.

I built new system fully from scratch not using Debian and its almost done, have yet to apply perl modules using CPAN and and the configuration file entries to the asterisk .conf's

Just wondering. On the old Debina system I notice when I import the sample customer leads into the database, they do indeed get inserted into the database table, I checked and they are in the database table.

My question is, are the leads that I just imported suppose to be seen somewhere in the list or are they only visible once the campaign is started and the leads are queried from the database table and put into the hopper?

Sorry because I know I should read some more of the readme files and possibly the user manuals and I plan to make time for this.

Thank you for any help you can give.
Blessings :D

Correct , however in admin page ->lists tab you can see how many number of leads a list contain or you can even search for a lead by name/number and see his full information . You can use phpmyadmin for browsing through database .

when you inserted the sample leads on the scratch install you also need to create a list corresponding to the list id. then after that you will see it under that list id.
