Leads Recycling Too Frequently

Hi all,

Here is my system:
ViciBox Redux v.5.0.2-130821
Updated to Vicidial Version 2.12b0.5 from SVN 2335
Asterisk: 1.8.23.0-vici
DB: 1416
Seperate DB/Telephony/Archive servers - all quad Xeon.
VoIP Only (G711, G729)

I have a campaign running and we are seeing Answer Machine (A) status leads being re-called within 10 minutes, when the lead-recycling for this status/campaign is set to 10800.

I am sure that the leads are not duplicated in the list, and when I look at the DB log table, in each case I can see the two calls, both linked to the same lead_id.

We have tried with 'A' status in and out of the Campaign dial-status list. Doesn't seem to have any effect on the re-dialling.

Can you suggest what steps I should follow to debug this issue?

Thanks,
Mark

turn off lead recycling. it's NOT supposed to be used for anything beyond "call back a busy signal in 30 seconds". You are violating that by trying to set the callback outside the realm of "recycle". For the usage you are describing, you should just let the entire list reset and call all the leads back.

Note that this feature (lead recycling) has been all but abandoned because it never gets used correctly and as a result never works the way anyone wants it to (ie: everyone wants to micromanage every type of call and status and completely overloads the queue, eventually breaking functionality ...).

Make your life easier. Shut it off, recycle the entire list at the same time. You'll still have more hair when you're my age if you do ... 8-)
