Hello all
I'm admin in one little callcenter, and I have one interesting task.
Our callcenter have to dial to another countries with different time zone. When operator call to one country and his customer ask to recall to 11AM tomorrow, but on our server we have different time zone, in out country we have to call in 10AM. How I can configure it in the system?

Vicidial is built to handle time zones already. Note that call centers all over the world have been using Vicidial for many years, and even just within the US there are multiple time zones and laws about calling times and the need for the agent to be able to call the client in CA at 3PM (PST) when the agent is in Florida (EST) without having to keep track of the differences (not to mention who's on DST presently).

Vicidial updates the time zone (and DST status) of all leads every night, just for this purpose.

So YOUR goal is merely to be sure the time zones are being properly assigned to your leads by ensuring the proper country code (ie: US for the United States ...) is entered for each lead. Within the US, the Postal and Area Code are also taken into consideration (other countries as well, but AFAIK only the US has this data pre-loaded).

Check your database and see if your leads have GMT/Time Zone data properly loaded. Try setting a callback time for a lead in a different time zone and see when it comes up as "active".
