Hi team,
I just wanted to ask if i should do the 'os-install' first for each server?(database, web and telephony). Before doing the 'vicibox-install'?.
What i did was 'os-install' for the web server and after accessing it through a web browser, i dont know the next step. Should i do the same process to database and telephony? Or just the 'vicibox-install'?
Thanks Team!

Did you read the installation document on the vicibox.com website?

You install all of them the same except at the end (vicibox-install) this is where you will determine if "server" is Database, Web, or Telephone server.
Install Database server first, then Web server, then Telephone server.
But I would recommend installing 1 All-In-One server so you can get the hang of it.

Hi chasejordan1,
How about the archive? Is it a server also? Should i install it like the others? And what is the use of archive?
Thanks for your response.

You should set up the archive as a web/dialer and add the archive role as well. That makes it an Emergency server when needed.
Technically, the archive server does not need to be a Vicidial server at all. It needs only FTP and Web on it. Kumba built the archive role into the installer so you don't have to bother learning how to set all that up outside Vicidial, but any FTP/Web server will do to send audio recordings and/or backups automatically by using the backup script and/or to the ftp script in crontab -e.
