Hello-

I am looking for some help on setting up broadcast survey campaigns that ask multiple questions instead of one question. I understand how to setup the survey to ask one question and I have researched through the boards that it is possible as Matt has indicated that it works well in one post however, the setup isnt described and I am wondering if someone could help describe how to set one up? What is the configuration used to set these multiple question surveys up since there is no guide on this. If someone understands how to setup multiple question survery could you please describe how you do this? It would much appreciated and very helpful. Many thanks in advance,

We have a 6 server load balancing cluster setup with the following configuration:
2 Webservers, 2.4 Ghz Core 2 Quad Quad Core Dual 256GB SSD Raid1 8GB DDR2 Ram

1 Db Server 2.13 Ghz Xeon E5 6-Core w/HT Dual 256GB SSD Raid1 24GB DDR3 Ram

It's not that difficult really, just do a normal Survey campaign, but have it use the CALLMENU survey method, and set the second question as one of the Call Menus you have created for questions past the first question.

Matt- thank you for the fast response. Its much appreciated. If I have any hangups Ill be sure and ask more about it here.

I have a question off the subject a bit its about the inbound IVR capabilities of Vicidial. What I am looking to do is create an IVR but instead of recording digits as an answer to an ivr questions, such as press 1 for this or 2 for that, but instead record an audio response. Is this possible with Vicidial? The recording can either be stored in a report or emailed. Stored as a wav file or any audio file. So we can ask multiple questions and get multiple audio files as answers. This could have many applications and I am wondering if there is a way this can be done with Vicidial? Im not sure if this would take custom development or not. What do you think is this doable with a small amount of effort or do you think this is a big undertaking? Any suggestions on where I can start?

I have a client that requires an IVR that the people need to answer verbally and then we transcribe the recordings. I am wondering if its possible to set the iVR to record the answer to a questions almost like leaving a voicemail and then proceed to the next question. The answers to the questions are stored or emailed,

Matt-

It works perfectly. How do the reporting work for this type of survey, how do we get the reports and what do I need to do to get them?

As for audio recording, it might be best to just record the entire call, then use the Export Calls Report to export the calls that are responded to and use the links that report provides to download the audio. There is currently no easy way to make short and separate recordings at each step of Call Menu tree without having to do a lot of customization, and also, sending lots of separate audio recordings over email is not a good idea at all, believe me.
