Problem after fresh install!

Postby GDelkos » Fri Oct 09, 2015 3:06 pm

Hi there

firstly my specs:

Server:

HP Proliant Blade BL460 G7/G6

PROCESSOR 1 x 4 core Intel® Xeon® Processor X5550 (8M Cache, 2.66 GHz, 6.40 GT/s Intel® QPI)
RAM 16 GB ECC
HDD 2 x 1ΤΒ GB SATA III Enterprise
RAID Hardware RAID 1

Vicibox_v.6.0.x86_64-6.0.4.iso
Fresh install accordingly to the manual!

VERSION: 2.12-515a
BUILD: 151007-2224

Now this is the first time i am experiencing something like this. After the install (no errors or problems here) i am going to my ip to log for the first time as admin with 6666 and 1234 as password.Everything fine here but when i try to modify the user nothing is saved!
Any thoughts?

also here are the log files!

apache2 error log (something is really not looking good here but i have no idea of this error)!

FIRST MY SPECS:

4 Server VICI BOX install
All Dell poweredge 2950's dual quad core 3.16ghz processors with 32gb ram and 260gb SAS raid 1 hd's
All running Asterisk 1.8.32.3-vici SVN version 2397
Fresh Install of ViciBox Redux v.6.0.3-141118 (formatted and installed twice on all 4 servers)

I am having the same issues editing through the web interface. When I try and edit a campaign (which I am very familiar with) It takes me back to the web home screen and the changes don't post to the database. Or I get the same as seen IN THE IMAGE POSTED BY ANOTHER ON THIS THREAD

I have set up my share of systems and have never encountered this problem. Tried firefox and chrome.

here is what i see in the apache logs mostly INVALID METHOD

Same problem here. I did a complete fresh install zypper refresh and zypper up, went straight to the web admin and it happens when I edit a campaign. I was able to bulk add 25 phones, register them to the system and log them all in. I was also able to make many campaign changes to the campaign with navicat and they all worked. But I cannot not set the system up for use until I solve this problem.

I'm not sure what's going on, but kumba is looking into it. He's the maintainer of vicibox.

I'm trying to duplicate the issue on our side but haven't been able to so far. I'm also a little curious how ViciBox v.6.0.4 made it to the download page considering I didn't think I released it.

For everyone experiencing this issue, is the web server separate from the database? or does this occur in both single server and cluster instances?

hmmm thats suspicious i have downloaded the 6.0.4 firstly and after many fails i have tried to install v6.0.1 and v6.0.0 but both when you try to install firstly u get a new repo key question if you should trust this and secondly after every update (zypper up -y) it stop working properly with the errors above!

i made no test for cluster.Only on single!

I´ve run zypper up about 3 days ago, and my servers are running as a cluster (DB separeted from Web Server).

Same problem here.

Same problem here and my original issue was with 6.0.3 fresh install on 4 servers (web server, db and 2 telephony) I did zypper up and experienced the issue for the first time. I then downloaded vicibox 6.0.4 and formatted all 4 servers and did a reinstall twice with the latest version of vicibox (6.0.4) with the same results. I had done a fresh 3 server install on the same exact 3 servers in a different location 4 weeks ago with 6.0.3 and did zypper up and everything worked fine. I had to move to the new office and decided to do a fresh install. with the same 6.0.3 dvd I had used on the 100% successful install the few weeks earlier and i am experiencing the problem described above. The issue has to have something to do with one of the files in the zypper update.
Thanks,
Tony

Done zypper up now and now I can edit campaigns. But lead loader still have an error:

ERROR: The file does not have the required number of fields to process it.

Today i have done a fresh install (Vicibix 6.0.3). I haven't done zypper up.

SVN version: 2397

Everything is working well.

So, zypper up did caouse this problem and maybe now something was updated and another zypper up should fix this issue.

Done zypper up again:

Retrieving repository 'Packman_13.1' metadata ............................[done]
Building repository 'Packman_13.1' cache .................................[done]
Loading repository data...
Reading installed packages...

Nothing to do.

No updates to do. Still having problem.

You had already done a zypper refresh/zypper up. That's why it said "nothing to do". Reinstall again and be sure NOT to zypper refresh or zypper up.

The earlier post was meant to imply that some day in the future that may be fixed. Presently, though, the solution is "DO NOT Zypper refresh or Zypper up". At all. Not even to "check".

I did a zypper refresh and zypper up and it did not solve my problem. I still cannot select an allowed inbound group for a campaign.

*Does anyone know where I can select an allowed inbound campaign in the database from navicat? It would at least let me set up an inbound campaign for now.

I get this after I submit:

econds=-1&timer_action_destination=&alt_number_dialing=N&timer_alt_seconds=0&scheduled_callbacks=N&scheduled_callbacks_alert=NONE&scheduled_callbacks_count=ALL_ACTIVE&callback_days_limit=0&callback_hours_block=0&callback_list_calltime=DISABLED&callback_active_limit=0&callback_active_limit_override=N&my_callback_option=UNCHECKED&show_previous_callback=ENABLED&drop_call_seconds=5&drop_action=HANGUP&safe_harbor_exten=8307&safe_harbor_audio=buzz&safe_harbor_audio_field=DISABLED&safe_harbor_menu_id=&voicemail_ext=&drop_inbound_group=---NONE---&disable_dispo_screen=DISPO_ENABLED&disable_dispo_status=&wrapup_seconds=0&wrapup_message=Wrapup+Call&wrapup_bypass=ENABLED&wrapup_after_hotkey=DISABLED&dead_max=0&dead_max_dispo=DCMX&dispo_max=0&dispo_max_dispo=DISMX&pause_max=0&customer_gone_seconds=30&use_internal_dnc=N&use_campaign_dnc=N&use_other_campaign_dnc=&agent_pause_codes_active=N&auto_pause_precall=N&auto_resume_precall=N&auto_pause_precall_code=PRECAL&campaign_stats_refresh=N&realtime_agent_time_stats=CALLS_WAIT_CUST_ACW_PAUSE&disable_alter_custdata=N&disable_alter_custphone=Y&no_hopper_leads_logins=N&no_hopper_dialing=N&agent_dial_owner_only=NONE&owner_populate=DISABLED&agent_display_dialable_leads=N&screen_labels=--SYSTEM-SETTINGS--&status_display_fields=CALLID&status_display_ingroup=ENABLED&agent_display_fields=&display_queue_count=Y&view_calls_in_queue=NONE&view_calls_in_queue_launch=MANUAL&grab_calls_in_queue=N&

The problem I am having is duplicating it. Some people say it's when loading a campaign, others when loading leads. Let me grab a small test database and see if it's something that has to have more then just an install behind it.

I'm about to test this myself (downloading 6.0.4) but where did it come from if Kumba didn't upload it?

6.0.4 was built and on the website server, but Kumba had not linked to it. It's possible that as we switched webservers a couple weeks ago that one of us linked to it seeing it on the server.

A client had is build a version of ViciBox for them including the HP Smart Array driver for their fleet of HP servers. One of my guys saw the new 6.0.4 version on SuSE Studio and decided it was a public release and put it on the website. So it came from us but is not an official release. It's really 6.0.3 ViciBox with the HPSA driver added.

On a side note, I'm releasing an official ViciBox v.6.0.4 which includes a couple of things such as the aforementioned HPSA driver. I've updated the GPG keys for the repositories so it doesn't ask for them during install, redid the vicibox-upgrade script to use the new manifest file from the SVN trunk, added mydumper/myloader SQL utilities, and updated to the latest SVN revision.

I might just skip 6.0.4 because of this and go with 6.0.5. I haven't decided yet. I'm still trying to duplicate the install issues that everyone is reporting though.

Is anyone still having this issue? Going by the last few posts to the thread it seems like a package issue that somewhat resolved itself.

Please let me know if this is still an issue after doing a zypper up.

Did a fresh install of 6.0.4, everything went smoothly. Just curious about this error after doing zypper refresh && zypper up: setting /usr/bin/at to root:trusted 4755. (wrong permissions 4750)

Also after doing vicibox-install there's this message: unable to initialize libusb: -99

But above all, everything works well ...
