Fresh install accordingly to the manual!

Now this is the first time i am experiencing something like this. After the install (no errors or problems here) i am going to my ip to log for the first time as admin with 6666 and 1234 as password.Everything fine here but when i try to modify the user nothing is saved!
Any thoughts?
