Campaign with fewer agents doesn't have calls being placed

Good Day,

I experienced this and would like to inquire what was the problem . We have a dialer that is being used by multiple clients . Then a client did a test with 30 agents doing outbound calls . What I noticed is that while the campaign with more agents are dialing , the other campaign with 3 agents loged in cannot receive any calls , when I look at the real time monitoring, there are no calls being placed to them while they are on "ratio" it's like the dialer is only dialing the numbers from the campaign with more agents. But if I change the dial methon to dial next number for the campaign with 3 agents , calls are coming in to their staff.

Kind Regards,

In the campaign's Real Time view, what is the value for "TRUNK SHORT/FILL"?

If the dialer runs out of channels ... and there are no other dialers to Balance Dial for it ... those calls don't get made. Try moving those agents to a server with less traffic or at least more available channels.

Admin->Servers->{Choose Server} => Max Vicidial Trunks (exercise caution, as this can overload your dialer! Bring it up slowly and check htop for load!)

This can also be affected by max calls per second (be careful with this, as it can piss off your carrier! anything over 5 likely requires a discussion!)

There are also settings in the server record to limit the "Trunks Per Campaign". I don't recommend that, though: I recommend adding more dialers until you have enough capacity to handle all the calls.

PS: AMD Opteron means nothing. Core Count and CPU Speed! 8-)

Thanks William ,

I was not able to get the Trunk Short/Fill

Max Trunks is at 46
Max Calls per Second 10

I will be checking the settings if anything lke this happened again
