System Requirements for SURVEY campaign

Hi Team,

we are using vicidial from last 5 years. working great. And i started my carrier with Vicidial-asterisk only. Big thanks for all creators and site administrator. its a Miracle that you guys will reply to all the question.
especially in india, 80% of call/contact centers knew about vicidial. if you add some more features, you can reach everyone.

I need some help in Server Requirement.
one of our client is looking for Voice blasting(SURVEY) campaign. daily 3 Lakhs(300000) message to broadcast. each message has 30 seconds duration.
Am planning to go for 2 server. (1 Db and 1 Telephony/web) with sip connectivity.

please help me in hardware requirement.

Hello,

You need to calculate CPS then you will get more idea about hardware requirement.

For example you are dialling for 10hrs daily then 300000/36000=8.33 CPS.

I will suggest you go with below server configurations.

Asterisk and Web:- 12 Core(2.4GHz processor or more) with 32GB RAM and 6MB or more cache.

DB:- Quad Core is OK.

I have used IBM X3500(12 Core with 2.4GHz, 32GB RAM and 12 Cache) for Asterisk/Web and Quad Core for DB for 5 CPS. Performance was nice.
