Making: VICIDIAL server and TRIXBOX server work...

Hi... I want to try the VICIDIAL/astGUIclient in one server then use my exsisiting TRIXBOX 1.2.3 server... how can it be done?... what to config and how?....

Hi,
it is not advisable to used trixbox with vicidial.Please use asterisk.

Using Trixbox as a gateway is possible, but not as easy as just using a standard trunk.
I have never done it myself, but you should be ble to create an IAX account on trixbox and then use that for your trunk on VICIDIAL by setting it as an account in iax.conf and using the proper Dial string in extensions.conf.

yeah for trunking but not on the same server as vicidial? not advisable.
