Hi guys, i would like to ask help regarding Activating the fucntions of CID during Survey transfer:

i Have an existing Survey setup that has a method to transfer to an External extension number, but the problem during the transfer to extension number the CID becomes Unknown. What we intend to do is that when ever there is Transfer to extension on this SUVERY the customer number being transfer becomes the CID that will reflect to the transferred call to the external phone extensions,

Any idea on this Guys somehow..? how to implement. Thanks i Advance...

In some older versions we used to have to use a whole different dialplan to send the call to an external number without breaking the CID. Try using a different dialplan entry that does NOT have the "agi" line.

Or Transfer to agent instead. Remote agent. Technically, you should be doing this anyway to retain a view of the call in the real time screen with these remote agents and to limit the number of transfers to the number of agents at each remote location.

HI ruben23

That works for me. I hope that works for you too.

1) If You Dialing using remote agents you need to set External Extension: to the extension you want to dial and and you Survey Method: AGENT_XFER

At the campaign set :
3-Way Call Outbound CallerID: to CUSTOMER

else you need to put Survey Method: CALLMENU then set call menu setting timeout to 1 second and set the timeout action to EXTENSION. and don't forget set 3-Way Call Outbound CallerID: to CUSTOMER at the campaign.

Also when dial that extension you need to set the callid to customer number

exten => 1234,1,Set(CALLERID(num)=${CUSTPHONE})
exten => 1234,n,Dial.........

Have you made dialplan for it if yes then please share . I don't what is variable for customer phone number . Please help
