Cannot Dial outbound

Hello Everyone,

I am new to setting up vicidial myself we have been using a hosted solution and plan on bringing our vicidial inhouse in the near future. So I am setting up vicidial on a basic system from scratch to learn how to set up and administer it myself. I have been reading the Manager user manual and currently have my Admin account, phones, campaign, and carrier set up the best I could while using the manual and this forum. I can log into the vicidial agent webclient and my Xlite is connected. When I log in the xlite rings and says you are the only user... but when I dial a call it doesn't do anything and I cannot hear anything and no call is made. I am currently trying to dial manually to test that it is working. Below is my current set up

1) Version of VICIDIAL: VERSION: 2.12-494c BUILD: 160731-1102
3) basic computer for testing and getting familiar with using - Intel core 2 with 4 GB ram
4) Codecs used - not sure
5) VOIP
6) OS - Windows 7

I am not going to be using this computer for our dialer we have a much more suitable server that is currently in use. This is only for me trying to get familiar with the workings of vicidial and setting everything up from the beginning. I did a fresh install from the dowloadable vicibox install iso

I got it fixed my dial prefix was set to x instead of 1. The support team at voip essential helped out.

The guys are VOIP essential are great and go out of their way on a regular basis to help their customers out. Glad you got it fixed.
