Hi a simple question, What is the Mysql's user used by system vicidial system, it is cron or root ? I'm asking this because I just want to make sure I can change the mysql root password without affecting any particular script or vicidial's feature. My thought is that cron is the user used by vicidial for all the Mysql activity but I just want to confirm , Thanks in advace!

Yes you are right...Vicidial only use cron user. You can change root password. It will not effect vicidial.

If you use custom fields at all, then there is another MySQL user as well...

But it's still not root. You may safely alter the mysql root password to your heart's content. Enjoy.
