Migration to a new Vicidial Server with Navicat?

Postby oonyxx » Wed Oct 12, 2016 2:29 am

Hi all, i hope you are doing well.
I have a problem with a new installation of VICIbox 4.0.3 (Asterisk 1.4). I have installed the ISO and everything looks ok. What i need is to transfer all the Vicidial Files (Campaigns, Lists, Users, Call Statuses etc.) from the old server to the new one so they can start working the operators with nothing changed. Well, i don't much of SQL migration etc. so i install Navicat for more ease. Does anyone know what tables from the Asterisk DB do i need to transfer to the new Asterisk DB? How is it done with Navicat? I mean i know the export/import wizard... but...

Thanks i advance from your help!

I have only really used vicibox 6.0.3 but it would be worth checking in the 4.0.3 version directory of " /usr/share/astguiclient/ " for a a file called " ADMIN_backup.pl ". this utility would go through and tarball the db and the other components of the server. I am not sure if you are using a single server or cluster. you can also run the " ADMIN_backup.pl --help " and it will list out the variables of what actions it can take.

here is a link to more information.
