Vicibox 3.1.10 from .iso | VERSION: 2.4-357a BUILD: 120125-2107 | Asterisk 1.4.39.2-vici | CLuster setup: 1 web 1 DB 5 telephony | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Amfeltec PCIe timers
I am running an automated campaign using 50 remote agents with the following configuration.
Dial Method: RATIO
Auto Dial Level: 1
Available Only Tally: Y
There are always at least 10 agents ready yet I find calls waiting (never higher than 5) for an agent and the drop percentage keeps climbing. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

What do you mean by "voice blast"?

Are you not using the Survey method for this? That's what it was built for.

Hmmm...I don't need input from the people I am calling. Can I still run it as a survey campaign?

Yes you can, and should. Just set the survey method to DROP.

Help file states that the survey method defines the action after the customer opts-in. How can I force the opt-in since I do not want customer input?

You don't have to worry about the opt-in. Set the Survey No-Response Action to DROP and the Wait Seconds to 1 and you are good to go.
Use the Test Call feature at the bottom of the Campaign Modify Detail page to place test calls.

Options under Survey No-Response Action: OPTIN and OPTOUT. No Wait Seconds option. Any advice?

Test calls result in a few seconds of silence then a strange noise (nothing like what is recorded in the audio file) and the call is hung up.
This is how I configured the survey for testing purposes.
