Filter Phone by URL and did_pattern

Postby rockgeneral » Thu Dec 08, 2016 5:59 pm

I am probably overlooking something simple but for the life of me I cannot find out what. I am using the Filter Phone functionality using the URL method. The URL is specified as follows in the did setup:

VARhttp://192.168.1.8/Enforced_Transfer_Filter/Bad_Transfer_Check.aspx?phone_number=--A--phone_number--B--&did_pattern=--A--did_pattern--B--

Vicidial is hitting the URL each time I call the DID. However, the caller id phone number is being populated in the query string in place of --A--did_pattern--B--. My understanding was that the DID should show up here since I specified --A--did_pattern--B--

If I call the DID 555-555-5555 from phone number 777-777-7777 the query string that currently is being passed is:

phone_number=7777777777&did_pattern=7777777777

My page requires the actual DID that was called for it to work correctly. Can anyone shed some light on what I am doing wrong?

Thank you,

rockgeneral

I can't say I've ever seen that before, but looking at your signature you are using a 5-year-old version of VICIdial.

Yeah I know the version is old. Everything has been working so well with it that I didn't want to chance upgrading. I was hoping that there was just something silly I was missing. If that's not the case I am going to copy the DB to another server I have, upgrading to the latest SVN and see if that fixes it. Hopefully, it fixes the issue, and if so, we will get the benefit of new features as well.
