You do not. RAID is hardware and precedes the OS installation. Hardware RAID does not require drivers in the OS. It presents a HD to the booting OS as if it were a physical drive, even though it's a logical one.
Do not use software raid. If your raid hardware requires special drivers to run, you'll need to install Vicidial from Scratch (manually) after you get the OS installed with whatever method will allow your drivers for the OS you've chosen. There are online instructions for CentOS and Ubuntu (which also applies to Debian for the most part).
All that being said: After booting from the CD in the installer, there may be options before you fire up the OS-install script. We've just never had a reason to look.
