From the manual:
ADAPT_HARD_LIMIT will dial predictively up to the dropped percentage and then not allow aggressive dialing once the drop limit is reached until the percentage goes down again. ADAPT_TAPERED allows for running over the dropped percentage in the first half of the shift (as defined by call_time selected for campaign) and gets more strict as the shift goes on.
ADAPT_AVERAGE tries to maintain an average for the dropped percentage, but without imposing hard limits as aggressively as the other two methods.
While in predictive dialing mode, The dial level can not be changed manually. The dialer automatically makes adjustments based on your settings.

Latest Server Time -This field is only used by the ADAPT_TAPERED dial method. You should enter in the hour and minute that you will stop calling on this campaign, 2100 would mean that you will stop dialing this campaign at 9PM server time. This allows the Tapered algorithm to decide how aggressively to dial by how long you have until you will be finished calling.
The tapering only starts at 9 hours until the Latest Server Time, before that it will not start tapering the dial level.

Well, so if my TaperTime is 21 the algorithm starts tapering dial livel al 12am. Is correct?
And so, if the shifts in my call center are 9-15 and 15-21 how can i use Adapt Tapered in both the shifts?
Thx

You would have to manually change the latest server time twice a day to do that, once at the end of each shift.

So, if I set Latest Server Time at 2400 all the AM Shift will go with Tapered Algorith, but to use it also in PM shift I have to set Latest Server Time at 0600AM?

No, you got that reversed, set it to 2100 at the end of the AM shift, and set it to 1500 at the end of the PM shift. Doing that will mean that during the AM shift, the Latest server time is set to 1500, and during the PM shift it is set to 2100.

In ADAPT_AVERAGE until it reaches the half of the shift (1/2) and it overcomes DROP limits what is going to happen? Will it continue calling like HARD limit? If it reach the 2nd half of the shift (2/2) will the speed drop until the limit of drop will be stabilized? In the begging is it offensive and independed and then he begins to speed down? Am i right? If not can you give me an example?
