How to enable agent whisper in vicidial?

Enable it in System Settings, then you can use it in the Real-Time Report similar to how monitoring an agent works(see the Manager Manual).

The manager manual says

Enable Agent Whisper Monitoring - ...WARNING, this feature is considered experimental and may not function properly in some cases. Older versions of Asterisk have shown to have serious issues at times with this feature and can cause Asterisk to freeze or crash. Default is 0 for disabled.


I have Asterisk 11.25.3-vici, is the whisper function safe to use at this version?

Whisper should be safe with Asterisk 11, although we do recommend a newer Asterisk 13 version(like 13.27.0) for greater stability and SIP compatibility.
