Hi guys,

I'm having trouble with how to's in terms on setting up an inbound campaign with an avaya trunk.

I have a current clustered vicidial setup that's catering outbound campaign. This dialer with asterisk trunk facing an avaya trunk since they are using an AVAYA hard phone.

How do I set up an inbound campaign?

1. Do I need to create another AVAYA trunk other than the existing one?
2. Do I need another trunk in the asterisk end?
3. Do I need to add another carrier?
4. Will a dialplan needed to be added for this to work?

Please advise.

VERSION: 2.14-610a
BUILD: 170416-1548

Thank you!

In addtion..

I already have an existing AVAYA TRUNK and ASTERISK trunk as ive stated above right. Carrier details below:

Carrier ID: A-XXXXXXXX
Carrier Name: VICIDIAL-XX.XX.XX.XX
Template ID: SIP_Generic
Account ENTRY:
[VICIDIAL-XX.XX.XX.XX]
port=5060
disallow=all
allow=ulaw
type=friend
host=XX.XX.XX.XX
dtmfmode=rfc2833
context=default
tcpenable=yes
transport=udp
PROTOCOL: SIP
GLOBAL STRING: VICIDIAL-XX.XX.XX.XX=SIP/VICIDIAL-XX.XX.XX.XX
DIALPLAN ENTRY:
exten => _91999NXXXXXX,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten => _91999NXXXXXX,2,Dial(${TESTSIPTRUNK}/${EXTEN:2},,To)
exten => _91999NXXXXXX,3,Hangup

exten => _0011.T,1,Dial(${VICIDIAL-XX.XX.XX.XX}/{EXTEN},,To)
exten => _0011.T,n,Hangup

exten => _X.T,1,Dial(${VICIDIAL-XX.XX.XX.XX}/${EXTEN},,To)
exten => _X.T,n,Hangup

So, what if I have the INBOUND CALL TRUNK AVAYA-IN-X.X.X.X.

Should I create another carrier like this for that trunk:

Carrier ID: AVAYA-IN-XXXX
Carrier Name: AVAYA-IN-X.X.X.X
Template ID: SIP_Generic
Account Entry:
[ AVAYA-IN-X.X.X.X]
port=5060
disallow=all
allow=ulaw
allow=alaw
allow=g729
type=friend
host=X.X.X.X
dtmfmode=rfc2833
context=default
tcpenable=yes
transport=udp
Global String: AVAYA-IN-X.X.X.X=SIP/AVAYA-IN-X.X.X.X
DialPlan Entry: <Blank>

And append the dial plan in the main carrier above?

Thanks guys.
