Can we Pass digits for IVR menu through vicidial

hi

actually i want to know that can we press any digits from the softphone when we got any IVR menu when dialing through vici dial or not ?

This is what the "Send DTMF" button is for in the agent screen. If the IVR requires you to dial 201 (for example) then dial 201 in to the Send DTMF prompt, and click the send DTMF button.

DTMF = Dual Tone Multi Frequency, for those of you who do not know, DTMF is the tones produced from your phone when you press a button.

This should also be clearly outlined in the Agent manual. I try to suggest that every Agent for the call center review the manual a MINIMUM of one time. I cannot stress enough to read the manual and have every agent read the manual.

hi

thankz for the reply .. but how to send DTMF when i select the Transfer-Conf button . how i pass the DTMF in that mode.

Just an update on this issue, there is a patch you can apply to asterisk to get DTMF passthru to work better in Asterisk 1.2.X
