Generate Cross-Server Phone Extensions
Posted: Tue Feb 13, 2018 4:58 pmI'm testing a cluster to determine the feasibility of leveraging Cross-Server Phone Extensions. While this setting is enabled, and even after setting Reload Dialplan On Servers to 1, I do not see all extensions on every server. There are no issues moving an extension from one server to another and then registering. But my understanding on this setting was that all extensions would be loaded on all servers.
Additionally, how does this work with balancing load across servers? Could I set all phones to register to the FQDN of Dialer 1, and have them redirected to balance across all asterisk dialers?
