Recording ID does not link Call ID

Why do calls list recording id next to them...

We sometimes have 20-30 recording for each customer and more than twice that call logs with Answering machines, Na, etc...
This means that we have to associate calls with recordings using amount of seconds of recording and call time....

Is there an easier way for us to link recordings and calls in the lead page.

I don't understand the question, recordings should have the lead_id in the recording_log record.

why are recordings not linked to the specific call record

There are several reasons for that, could be configuration, could be a manual dial call that never picked up, could be a carrier issue. Without specific examples, I can't go into much more detail.

I mean, why aren't they linked to each other on the lead page...

There is a separate recording log and it can't be linked to the call records on the lead page. There is no identifying information that links them on the lead page..
