Hi everyone,


I'm writing a wiki page for our sysadmin for operating our current Vicidial and adding everything I encountered so far in the documentation. I did have one experience that I could not recall how I exactly resolved and hope someone can help point me to the right direction.

This was the issue.

There was no audio for the inbound calls.

The logs said:

Separator is now a pipe not ; or something like that.

Resolution:

I had to add the correct Asterisk version in the config somewhere in the UI. (Can't recall)

Can someone remind me where to set the Asterisk version from the admin panel in the UI?

On Vicidial Version 8 by the way.

This has to be set at

Admin>>SERVERS>>your server id>>Asterisk Version

Let us know if this is what you were looking for.
