inbound call drop status with user assign

Postby richmac2018 » Wed Aug 29, 2018 9:02 pm

Hi Sir Matt and all,

VERSION: 2.14-683a
BUILD: 180809-1547
1 database
1 webserver
2 asterisk

Good day!

Can you help me on this? Inbound Drop call with assign agent it should be DROP VDCL.

On my troubleshooting on this the cause is it disconnected the agents browser connection. And with this issue it resulted with 3way call because it will still accept with another call since the status of that user is still available.

Now my question is how to prevent happening drop status with assign user even if the user's browser connection disconnected?

See below call logs sample export calls.

1) This is obviously a support request and not a "General Discussion". I will move it to the Support board, but please try to post in the appropriate board in the future.

2) Based on what you're saying: The call WAS assigned to that user, but the user disappeared (ie: browser disconnected).

It seems like you should be attacking the underlying problem of the user's browser connection issue. Vicidial does not allow bad connections to be "normal". Fault tolerance is one thing, but once the lead has been assigned to a user and sent to the user's session, that information is stored. Breaking the connection at that point doesn't change the situation, although it would seem that "ERI" would be a better status. Or "PDROP".

3) It would be possible to write a script to alter DROPS back to VDCL for the user, but this won't solve your connection problem.

4) It would also be possible to alter the Vicidial code to set a different (more suitable) status and (possibly) alter the agent for that record as well, but the latter doesn't seem like it would be something suitable for the core. At least this way you know WHICH agent has the problem with his browser, without that information you may never know something is amiss with that agent's browser (or brain).

5) Are these agents OnHook?

Hi Williamconley,

No they are not OnHook agents.

On this we just dont care for now with assign agent DROP status. What we are concern now is if that call will drop with agent it will have 3way calls with 2 customers.
Do you have idea on how to preventing accepting other call if that agent is already accepted the first call ? Because it also happen that they have add lead url and call start url and sometimes its long to respond and if they have 2 queueing calls those calls will go to they same agent this event will create 3way call with 2 customers.
