Detect Switched off phone

Postby sohaib » Sat Sep 08, 2018 2:36 am

Hi,

I am running autodialer for a client, and client need to get the list of switched off phone. how can i differentiate the switched off phone / auto vm / no answer. I know i can get no answer and auto voicemail, but how can i get switched off phone list?

Please let me know if there is any built-in status code for this or i need to make any changed to get this.

Thanks you.

It really depends on whether your carrier sends the right SIP response codes. Normally they are caught under "ADC" (Disconnected Number Auto - Carrier-received Disconnected number) or "ADCT" (Congested Number Auto - Carrier-received Congestion(19,21,34,38)). There is also "Enhanced Disconnect Logging" in system settings, which you can try out to cover more response codes as Disconnected/Congested (normally Vicidial considers some of them as NA).
Enhanced Disconnect Logging
This setting enables logging of calls that get a CONGESTION signal with a cause code of 1, 19, 21, 34 or 38. We usually do not recommend enabling this in the USA. Default is 0 for disabled.
Vicibox 6.0.2 from Vicibox_v.6.0.x86_64-6.0.2.iso | Vicidial 2.12-560a build: 160617-1427 | Asterisk 1.8.32.3
