Keep original sale status after using QCPASS

When you use the quality control feature and approve a sale with the QCPASS status it removes the original sale status when doing an export. Is there a way to prevent this?

What export report are you using?
Lead exports will show the present status of the lead. Calls exports on the other hand will show the status set at the end of the call.
