Agent Alert Is Playing Intermittently

Hello Vicidial Team,

I am having an issue where the agent alert is sometimes playing on agent side and sometimes not. Let's say happening only on 3 out of 10 calls. We are running only on a single server where the DB,WEB and VICI(Asterisk) are hosted. I've noticed that there are times that 83047777777777@vicidial-auto is not being executed.

Most likely reason is that your system is overloaded. Could be a misconfiguration somewhere as well. If you are using any kind of virtualization that could certainly cause this. You're also on a scratch install system instead of VICIbox, which tends to be another reason we see strange issues like this.

1) I'd have been here a couple weeks ago, but I watch "unanswered" more than "unseen previously" and your post disappeared from "unanswered" when you posted your second and third comments. For future reference, if noone has commented on your post yet, it's better to edit your original than to post another note. The sytem views "thread with another post" to be Answered, even if the "nother post" is by OP 8-) . Thus it disappears from the "unanswered" queue and guys like me ... never see it. Other boards (like Redmine, which I recommend highly for project management) work well with "pinging" your thread, but phpBB doesn't reward that behavior or everyone would constantly be pinging their posts to stay on top and nothing new would ever be visible. lol. (Free public boards have different policies than private project managers, I suppose)

2) Are you certain that all these calls are taking the same path to get where they are going? Timeout vs Invalid vs valid option in a call menu may go through different pathways and invoke different options. As do different DID options and Ingroup pathways.

3) For the record, which audio file is your agent alert? test_ivr_open? or ENV_QAMessaging? SMS_All_Program?

4) Is this output from screen -r asterisk? asterisk -R? or from a log file? (note that only "screen -r asterisk" has perl agi script crash notices, so it's always a good idea to have at least one gander at that just in case ... especially since you have a non-Vicibox install)

5) When you say "3 of 10" is this at all times? Or only when busy? For instance, if you TEST one call at a time after hours, will 3 of 10 still fail?
