Voicemail to Email in MP3 format

Hello Team,

Asterisk version : 11.22.0
VERSION: 2.14-588a
BUILD: 170211-1041
OS : centos 6.9
It is a scratch install.

Currently my Voicemail to email are going in .wav format. I want to change the format that person should receive voicemail in email in .mp3 format so that the person can directly play the voicemail in browser instead of downloading it every time.
Please help me in configuring the same and let me know how can we go through for this.

1) good job posting your specs, but you definitely should include the link to the installation instructions you used. And if this server is virtual/physical and where it's hosted never hurts to include (oddities abound and sometimes knowing these things can help jump to a solution for various problems and bring together users with similar issues)

2) wav and gsm can both be played in the browser, they are just different codecs.

3) VM is not a Vicidial module. It's an Asterisk module which The Vicidial Group merely includes in the PBX ... Stock. Thus your best bet is an Asterisk forum or site. Google is your friend. Here's an example:
