Press 1 Camp caller id

I have successfully setup up press 1 survey camp, and forwarded calls to external number using settings in Survey Xfer Extension to external number using remote agent . Everything seems to be working fine . Is it possible to send auto dialed customer number as caller id to forwarded calls to external number ? Currently its using my defined caller id setting in carrier .

BEST method: Transfer calls to a remote agent (with OnHook in case they don't answer) instead of just to an external number. Of course the remote agents can have external numbers, but this way the caller ID sent to the agent will be from the lead instead of the campaign.

Alternate Method: Duplicate your carrier and use a different dial prefix. Send the calls through this duplicate carrier instead of your normal carrier. Remove the AGI line from the carrer's dialplan entry.

Before setting up external number in survey camp, i tried to set up external number in remote agents and it also worked, but only problem was , when calls get hanged up on customer side or external number , calls doesn't get hanged up on remote agent, and it still shows remote agent on call . Didn't try OnHook method .

Will update here result of both method .

That's expected behavior in Vicidial. The agent is still in the "meetme room" and until they hang up, it will let them stay on the call. I don't think anyone's ever asked to have to changed (or have an 'option' for autohangup of agent).

during setting this up, i was also looking for an option to auto hangup agent after some specified time. As you suggested i removed AGI line from dial plan entry and used different dialing prefix for call forwarding but calls are now getting disconnected after pressing 1 .

First method using On-Hook Agent in remote agent worked perfectly .

Thanks william for helping me :D :D , at some point i was thinking its never going to be possible to send customer number as CLID on forwarded calls .

Everything is possible in Vicidial. Just a question of how deep you're willing to dig. Of course in many cases it's just a matter of ... reading the manual. Start reading now. You'll save a lot of hair pulling over the next year. Trust me. 8-)

Yes, manual is really very important for everyone, i have gone through it few times during my initial days to setup outbound. But i was very specific about things, read only those topics which were required at that time . Seems its time to go through full version manual. vicidial community support always amaze me, and most of time i don't have to post for some issue, community have answer to everything all we have to do is dig a little bit.
