Recordings by State

Hello,

Is there any way to only record calls from selected states? We are having some legal issues with some states.

Inbound calls, or outbound calls, or both?

If outbound, manual dial or auto-dial or both?

This will mostly be for outbound auto-dial calls

That is not currently a feature. I know we have quoted it before, because it could certainly be added, but it would probably be about 6 hours of work, and it would require the 'state' field for the lead being populated properly.

Without altering the Vicidial Core code, it would technically be possible (in theory, as a duct tape solution?) to use the Start Call URL to run a script that makes a determination (based on area code, state, or ANY criteria) to record or not, and then issue an agent api call to stop recording. Assuming there's an API call for that in your version.
