I want to change the custom field "date of birth" to be displayed as mm-dd-yyyy (US Format). Its currently displayed in the yyyy-mm-dd format. I've been searching for a way to do this but haven't found a way to achieve this. Also, is there a way to to put a script in a custom field to calculate Age from "date of birth"?

Neither of those are options currently, although they could certainly be added.

I'd suggest posting these feature requests to the Issue Tracker, and consider sponsoring development of them.
