Hi,
Currently I'm using Simple asterisk 11.25 for this but I'm thinking of moving this setup to latest vicidial. Currently we have Cisco IP Phones but what I need to do if I move to Vicidial is: Cisco IP Phones for Managers and Viciphone for agents. What I'm confused in is if I route a DID to ingroup with ringall how can I send call from same DID to IP Phones at same time?

ring all will ring all, will ring all agents logged at the same time, doesnt matter if are IP phones or VICIphones

Agreed, ringall will ring all agents "logged in"...but the extensions on IP Phone are just extensions for staff other than agents which they will not be logging in on web. In DID I can either select "exten" or "Ingroup" for "DID_ROUTE" not both.

If you select extension and you want to ring multiples phone not logged on the GUI, create a custom dial plan
Dial(SIP/100&SIP/101&SIP/102)

Well doing one thing is easy but I want both for same DID.
Agents will be using Web but managers want hard phones and they want to take calls as well. So for same DID I need to route the call on all agents logged in on web as well as Managers having physical phones who will not be logging in to web.

In Vicidial: Remote Agents are "Agents without Phones" (has nothing to do with location). Perfect for Desk Phones and managers who do not have a computer or any intention/time to log in to Vicidial. If they are "OnHook" phones, they will ring and if nobody answers another party can answer (this allows the RingAll concept for inbound call routing or RoundRobin with or without Ranking or "who's been waiting longest" or even "who's been waiting the least amount of time" which could indicate someone at their desk instead of at lunch right now).

On a lighter note (for the future?), these non-agent agents could log in and minimize their screen. Then when their phone rings, they could answer and maximize the screen (if they are at their desk). This would give them all their information for that lead but not require that they stay On the Line all the time, and they can ignore calls if they are too busy and need the call to ring to another agent instead.
IE: Logged In Agents with Computers can also have "OnHook" phones.
Vicidial is feature-rich.
