Hangup the call without going to dispo screen

Scenario: We have agents where they want to do some wrapup actions after the call is done, including the usage of the webform buttons. However when the client doesn't hanup and the agent clicks on Hangup the agent is taken to the dispo screen and can't do any administrative actions anymore.

Question: Is there a feature i don't know of that allows you to hangup the caller but still remain in the agent screen and still use the webform buttons? I know it's possible to check the alt phone dial checkbox and then hangup but this greys out the webform buttons.

That is not currently a feature. How would you envision this working? How would this non-dispo hangup function, and how would the agent then go to the dispo screen when they were ready?

Simply two buttons instead of one current hangup button

no code changes: Mute instead of hangup. Quick but efficient.

no code changes and still hang up the customer? Dispo as callback. Then preview the callback, make your changes, hit "commit" in the top right corner ... and logout because it won't let you NOT dial the lead.

Alternately, you can use the agent visible call log in similar fashion.

code change: Add a "Wrap" or "Retrieve" button to the dispo screen to allow retrieving the record for modifications borrowing code from the preview coding.
