Will downloading opensuse leap 15.2 software work on leap 15.1 OS?

Can i update Opensuse 15.1 to 15.2 on vicibox and have vicibox still work?

Solved! I found another thread on this... It sounds like the powers that be are working on a new vicibox version

Some software from a later OS version will work ... some won't. Hit or miss. But a full reinstall on a fresh HD and then upgrading the backed up DB will give you a fresh OS which can still connect to its repositories. Keeping the OLD HD (or server) until your new one is online means you can always just go back.
