9 being added to the number on the lead?

A number 9 is being added to THE END of every lead under Phone: when I click Dial Next Number, even though the number is not on the leads being loaded. I am sure this is just a setting but I am racking my brain. Where is the setting to append a number at the end or what setting do I have to change for this? This seems to be tied to the dialplan configuration. Any clue what I need to be changing in the dialplan?

Thanks for your help,
Gary

can you post your dialplan and the cli log while dialing out.

type asterisk -vvvvvr to capture the asterisk cli log

Your Carrier's Dialplan Entry is capable of modifying the dial string when dialing.

But of course: Your statement that 9 is being added is somewhat vague: How do you know this? Where do you see the number with the extra 9?

My assumption is that since it's common to use 9 as the Dial Prefix, which directly involves the Carrier settings "Dialplan Entry" field, it's likely yours is screwy. As striker pointed out, the first step in troubleshooting/tracing the issue is to look at the asterisk CLI output and see when the 9 comes into play, but my guess ... 8-)
