Hi,

I installed Vicidial asterisk 1.2.17 and astguiclient 2.0.3 on CentOS 4.4. I followed the "scratch installation" step by step. I also purchased the manager manual. I'm on the first tutorial where I create a campagin and load up a list. However, on the campaing created it says "This campaign has 0 leads in the dial hopper".

I typed the following commands:

I've read previous troubleshooting steps, maybe now I should check the hopper perl file in crontab. But I have no idea how to do that!

check your dialing hours. if it's set between 9am to 9pm then that means it won't load any leads before 9am. if your server has gmt -5 then it will load the leads at 9am gmt -5 time.

Thanks for your reply. I almost go crazy again, asking what happened that it wasn't working, that's because I checked the hopper and it says 0 leads.

Of course, it's 9:24 PM and the calling hours is from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. I would make a post tomorrow morning after 9:00 AM. Hopefully it works.

The server has leads in the dial hopper. However, I notice that after 5:00 PM every day, it has none.

On the "local call time" I have it from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. I't suposed to be until 9:00 AM.

If you are dialing for USA then a script in cron sets gmt offset for every lead . I supose 9 Am - 9 PM will be as per customer's time and not your office time . Where are you located ? Are you dialing to US ? Maybe your 5 PM is 9 PM in US then :-/

I'm in Miami , Florida & dialing to South Florida as well.

The server's time is right.

As per cron this script is run once every day but it is must to run this after every huge leads upload . Either run manually or set cron to run this script every hour or so .

I'm sorry for taking such a long time to come back. Yes I entered this command before, but I just re-entered now again, this is the result:

I Also had this problem, and it didn't resolve by itself. So I did what the prel script wanted - went to the DB using phpMyAdmin, and saw, that there are no dial statuses in the vicidial_campaigns table.

All four fields, dial_status_a, dial_status_b, dial_status_c, dial_status_d were blank... I manually added 'NEW' to dial_status_a - and leads started appearing ib the hopper!

But I know this is not the right way. When I make changes to the campaign through the webadmin, the 'NEW' item disappears

And the dial statuses I add through the webadmin, appear in the auto_alt_dial_statuses field...

What am I doing wrong?

This is fine since you are in EDT timezone which is GMT -4 .

This could be the problem . What dial status you have selected in campaign ? and what is the list order field set to ? Try changing that order once .
Also make a test campaign and see if it has having same problems with this one .
