Hi all,
scenario 30-50 agents
server provider Contabo VDS

specs:
processor: 4 Physical Cores AMD EPYC 7282 2.8 GHz
RAM: 32 GB RAM
storage: 240 GB NVMe SSD

I want to install it by cluster with Vicibox 11, can I ask for a better set up?

cluster option1 = 1 server combine DB/WEB then 2 ast/dialer server
cluster option2 = 1 server DB, 1 server Web, then 2 ast/dialer server
which is better?

dialing on predictive 1:4

I'm little bit worry for the performance on VDS/VPS vs the dedicated server(better performance)

Thanks

GO for Dedicated server. not for vps or vds.

20 to 50 agents 1:4 two server is good.
1db/web/asterisk = 6 to 8 core 16 to 32ram
1 asterisk. 4core. 8 to 16gig ram.

Note that Vicidial does not run on Virtual machines for production with more than a couple agents. This applies to all servers in the cluster.

The servers should share a local (physical) gigabit network with the DB server that has NO internet/public access. This local network then can be trusted with no firewall for inter-server communications. The local network should not "bounce" through smart switches or routers but should instead be a direct link between these two servers for the best performance. It should also be noted that in larger clusters the local network MUST be direct with no bounces to avoid packet collisions/sequence issues during high-volume calling.

If it is not possible to lease two servers in the same rack (so the local network is actually local physically and not merely "logically local") it is sometimes better to just lease a larger, more powerful, single server for all roles and have a second server role limited to replication and recording/data archiving (if needed: Replication is not a required server role, only as needed for reporting while production is running heavy).
